Your role at Clorox:

We are looking for a talented Buyer, MRO LATAM to join our Procurement team and play a key role in managing and optimizing the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) category across the region.

This position will be responsible for executing sourcing strategies, leading supplier negotiations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact operational efficiency and cost optimization across LATAM.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the MRO category for LATAM, ensuring supply continuity and service excellence

  • Lead RFQs/RFPs and contract negotiations for parts and services

  • Develop and maintain long-term supplier agreements and pricing strategies

  • Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including performance tracking (cost, service, quality, OTIF)

  • Manage and optimize category spend and cost-saving initiatives

  • Oversee MRP-related agreements and inventory optimization

  • Maintain and develop preferred and exclusive supplier catalogs

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify process improvements and innovation opportunities

  • Support category strategy execution and capital project initiatives

  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and communication across LATAM

What we look for:

  • +3 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain

  • Mandatory experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry

  • Experience managing MRO or indirect categories (preferred)

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills

  • Proven ability in spend control and cost optimization

  • Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders in a regional or global environment

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Advanced Excel and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s is a plus)
