Job Title: Lead Veterinary Surgeon

Salary: Up to £75,000 Dependent on experience

Location: Alder Vets, Guildford

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am-4pm) No OOH

We are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join and grow our veterinary team. In addition to clinical duties, you will be responsible for roster management, conducting performance evaluations, and collaborating closely with the practice senior leadership team to provide high-quality care for our clients and their pets.

Alder Vets is a purpose-built clinic, equipped with modern cutting-edge facilities, including diagnostic imaging, digital radiography, laparoscopic spay kit, endoscopy, ultrasound, and in-house blood analysis with huge potential for expanding our surgical caseload, inpatient care, and dentistry with room to grow other services such as exotics, diagnostic imaging, and feline medicine (with our dedicated cat waiting area, consult room, and procedure suite). With the majority of our clients carrying insurance, you'll have the opportunity to elevate case management to exceptional standards.

You will be supported by our Group Practice Manager who has been with Alders for over 20 years, a Client Care Manager with over 12 years at Alders, and a Primary Care Director with over 20 year’s experience in the veterinary profession, plus close network support from our Lead Vet at Crofts Vets our sister site plus the wider Linnaeus group.
