The Opportunity at Komodo Health

As part of Komodo’s centralized analytics function, the Healthcare Data Analytics team develops and executes a diverse scope of analytical projects which leverage Komodo’s data and platforms.  In this role, you will work with several stakeholder groups including Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to support a broad range of analytical work across all  market segments, customer types, therapeutic areas, and use cases.  As an expert of Komodo’s data and analytics platforms, Healthcare Data Analysts apply creative problem solving to showcase the value of our data via complex use cases and strategically  positioning Komodo’s offerings to address business needs of customers and end stakeholders

The Healthcare Data Analytics team drives value at Komodo by:

  • Supporting revenue attainment through targeted and robust analytics to support new business, expansions, and renewals
  • Driving value attainment for current customers by delivering bespoke and complex analytics via managed services 
  • Bolstering Komodo’s brand and reputation via insightful and nuanced  analytical investigations for external communication and marketings initiatives
  • Understanding and amplify best practices for leveraging Komodo’s data products and platform

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…

  • Developed and executed complex analytical projects to support Sales efforts across all of Komodo’s customer segments and product offerings
  • Led end-to-end execution of a wide variety of custom analytical projects to support current customers via Komodo’s Managed Services offerings 
  • Led complex analytical investigations and interpretation of results to derive key findings in support of research briefs, blog posts, and data driven marketing collateral for external facing comms project

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…

  • Leverage Komodo’s analytical platforms (Genie, Maplab, and our legacy product suite) to plan and execute complex analytical projects
  • Display expertise of Komodo’s data and products to best support a wide variety of use cases and customers; apply judgment and critical thinking to evaluate business goals and translate to analytical outputs 
  • Develop bespoke customer-ready analytical deliverables and synthesize results to tailor to end audience 
  • Act as analytical subject matter experts for customer facing team throughout a stages of customer lifecycle
  • Provide strategic guidance to key stakeholders and customer on the optimal analytical approaches to support business needs

What you bring to Komodo Health (required):

  • Prior experience with data analytics, quantitative problem solving. Comfort working with complex data sets via analytical software tooling
  • Strong ability to translate seamlessly between analytics and customer facing
  • Superior critical thinking skills and comfort navigating ambiguity, ability to translate business questions into analytical requirements and synthesize results 
  • Attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to interact directly with customers 

Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…

  • Familiarity with life science or healthcare industry — previous  analytical experience working with healthcare data 
  • Experience with SQL, snowflake, or relational databases

Compensation at Komodo Health

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.
$98,000$152,000 USD

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
