Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Manager for its Schaumburg, Illinois location.
Duties: Analyze business intelligence and trend data in order to manage fraud rules and scores, and develop prevention strategies based on risk appetite execution, fraud detection, and defect analysis. Leverage business analytics to identify enhancement opportunities and provide granular insights that can be acted upon, while ensuring adherence to Fraud Policy. Develop fraud risk segments and robust fraud mitigation strategies, and identify fraud detection issues at strategy or portfolio level to provide analytical/modeling solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategy recommendations based on data and trend analysis to ensure timely fraud mitigation. Implement mitigation strategies and partner with technology stakeholders for any data gaps or other integrity issues in the fraud detection platform. Evaluate new tools and products that enhance risk detection and prevention. Coordinate with internal and external partners to build analytical capabilities for loss mitigation and to execute new fraud prevention initiatives. Build and direct effective data controls using dashboards and reporting tools to enable effective monitoring and identification of fraud trends. Manage fraud strategy metrics including Hit Rate, Impact Rate, and Detection Rate to ensure an effective Fraud Rule Performance monitoring and planning. Ensure adherence to strict audit and control requirements, participate in audit related activities, and support Retail Bank Fraud Analytics higher management with timely completion of the audit and compliance related endeavors. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 6 years of experience as a Senior Consultant, Software Engineer, or related position involving design and implementation of technology solutions/platforms in the financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate specified experience. Full span of experience must include: Current and future state assessments; Defining business and technical requirements; Databases (Oracle); Reporting/Visualization Tools (Tableau); and All phases of the life cycle, including requirements definition, design, and implementations leveraging Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Additionally, 4 years of experience must include: Building predictive models using machine learning algorithms to identify and mitigate risks; Writing and debugging SQL queries to extract data from data warehouse; Generating report utilizing Python data analysis libraries and machine learning algorithms; Data analysis using hypothetical testing, regression analysis, and clustering algorithms; Optimizing and developing a comprehensive strategy for risk detection and mitigation; and Tableau to analyze and visualize data, and derive actionable insights.
