Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Assembly, Integration and Test Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Primary Responsibilities
Ensures that proper documentation is made on training record for training received, and signed by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager Helps monitor inventories and supplies and ensures correct usage Understand process and quality procedures and communicate them to less experienced team members. Communicate with supervisors, managers and quality about issues effecting quality of productivity. Assists in the development of bills of material and labor cost estimates for proposals and budgeting. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Complies with all Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have a high school diploma/GED and at least (3) three years of experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment or related experience and/or training.
Basic knowledge of power tools, hand tools, assemble of structures with the ability to learn the integration of large structures for DoD or aerospace is required.
Must be to lift and carries up to 35 lbs.
Must be adept with hand tools including drills, grinders, wrenches and screwdrivers, impact rivet guns, rivet puller.
Must be capable of reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and work instructions.
Must have the aptitude to learn and utilize production work orders, documents, drawings, specifications, and written or oral instructions to perform tasks necessary meet production requirements.
This job operates in a machine shop environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for half of the time and the rest of the time standing/walking. This role routinely uses standard hand tools. Use of PPE is required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with staff. The employee frequently is required to deburr and grind, with multiple types of hand tools.
Candidate will be required to move, reach, lift, feel, inspect, detect, and handle metal parts and perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Good communication skills and the ability to train others in aerospace structural assembly techniques is desired.
