Live - What you will do

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our national Medical Science Liaison team focusing on the Haematology therapeutic area, specifically Acute Lymphoblastic LeukaemiaWith over 60% of your time spent in the field, you will drive scientific dialogue providing valuable scientific and clinical insights through face-to-face and virtual interactions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team, building relationships with the top experts in the field while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.  This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney and reports to the National MSL Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with healthcare stakeholders to facilitate scientific discussions and enhance medical knowledge

  • Communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to stakeholders

  • Provide field observations and insights to internal teams

  • Support speaker training and ensure they are informed of the latest clinical data

  • Collaborate on Amgen-sponsored research and support investigator-led studies

  • Lead and support congress activities aligned with strategic objectives

  • Maintain clinical expertise through continuous training and development

  • Mentor new hires and support international MSLs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an MSL role is essential

  • Medical/scientific experience in Haematology is strongly preferred

  • Experience in solid tumours, thoracic, or gastroenterology areas will also be considered

  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DO) essential, or equivalent experience

  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally as required.

  • Strong understanding of the clinical and hospital environments within Australia’s healthcare system,  particularly in Haematology

  • Experience in clinical study management/execution is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license, residency and permission to work in Australia is essential
