Our Organization:

The Cybersecurity organization is responsible for protecting TJX’s Associates, customers, data, and technology across all banners and regions, overseeing all aspects identity and access management, detection and incident response, and cyber risk governance so teams can innovate quickly while operating safely.

We are on a mission to scale our security program by advancing our cyber defense and engineering capabilities, strengthening identity governance, improving automation and visibility, and continuously raising our cybersecurity maturity. What you will do:

The Manager of Cybersecurity will oversee cybersecurity operations and other functions at TJX’s IT India Office, ensuring the protection of information systems and helping foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation for site personnel. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in cybersecurity operations, site leadership, and talent development.  

• Oversee daily operations of the India Security Operations Center, including monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents. Ensure timely and effective incident management and resolution
• Lead and manage the cybersecurity team at the site, including engineers, providing direction, mentorship, and support
• Collaborates with cross-functional leaders and peer stakeholders to assess risks, align priorities, and drive the continuous improvement of enterprise cybersecurity controls and practices
• Partners with stakeholders across departments to ensure cybersecurity measures are incorporated into operational and strategic activities.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
• Mentor and coach team members to achieve their career goals and improve performance
• Serve as an escalation point for cybersecurity matters in the Asia-Pacific region
• Support solution development efforts within the TJX IT India Office, managing local product security and other cybersecurity resources, ensuring adherence to policies and standards, and leading global improvement efforts in conjunction with counterparts in other regions
• Serve as a regional point of contact for offshore partners for technical and cybersecurity matters
• Leader-of-leaders with advanced leadership competencies

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• 16+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• 6+ years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Strong team management and organization skills; ability to lead, motivate and direct a global workgroup
• Strong performance management skills to include coaching, goal setting, holding team members across multiple levels accountable for commitments
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience recruiting and onboarding associates

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable
• Understanding of retail operations, in-store technologies, and associate experience
• Experience with estimation, and budgeting
