Join our team and have an impact on all aspects of turbomachinery and rocket engine development and operation, contributing to the improvement and enhancement of our products for space exploration. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of delivery, along with a solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals. This role will require self-motivation and a strong desire to design, build, test, and learn about rocket engine turbopump components in a fast-paced, growing team. Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering

  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanical component design and manufacturing

  • Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and proficiency in GD&T

  • Knowledge of hardware fabrication and quality control

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams

  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired

  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace or similar manufacturing environment with hands-on experience supporting a manufacturing shop floor, assembly area, or test facility

  • Experience with turbomachinery specific to rocket engine applications

  • Knowledge of cryogenic fluids and oxygen compatibility

  • Experience with CAD and/or FEA modeling for turbomachinery components

  • Ability to analyze data to assess component health

  • Understanding of rocket turbopump architecture and fluid dynamics


 

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $75,510.00-$105,714.00

Other site ranges may differ

Paid Time Off:  Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
