Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service to identify and solve issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of the service management framework. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to critical business systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions. - Provide support to end-users and address their queries and concerns. - Contribute to the improvement of the service management framework. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in application support. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Service Management Framework Design and Implementation. - Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices. - Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy. - Knowledge of ITIL service transition and service operation processes. - Familiarity with IT infrastructure components and their interdependencies. - Experience in analyzing and interpreting application logs and performance metrics. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Service Management Framework Design and Implementation. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
