Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for Wing-to-Wing process driving Site Planning, Preparation, Site Readiness and installation processes in the regional “Healthcare Project Management” structure, with objective to achieve GEHC internal requirements compliance, customer satisfaction and company success through the best possible site management quality. It’s also responsible for high predictability of project deliverables, supporting actively our region and meeting Golden Rules and EHS programs.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

Conduct Site Assessments: Perform evaluations of new and existing sites to validate feasibility in alignment with GE HealthCare standards and documentation.

Customer Support: Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders throughout site planning and installation project phases, ensuring superior site management and customer satisfaction.

Design & Installation Coordination: Address design and installation issues with customers lead project follow-up meetings with clients and construction partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HPM COE and Shared Services teams, adhering to standard processes and requirements.

Site Testing & Feasibility: Execute site tests and feasibility assessments as required.

Technical Documentation: Prepare preliminary site drawings and ensure delivery of high-quality planning documents to customers.

Project Leadership: Maintain full ownership of the project lifecycle (Wing-to-Wing), leveraging project management tools from site feasibility through application completion.

Logistics Support: Provide technical and logistical assistance to the logistics team.

Timeline Management: Establish accurate site readiness timelines and monitor progress.

Business Integration: Supply timely and accurate updates to support production, project execution, and revenue recognition.

Workflow Execution: Complete and manage internal systems and workflow processes effectively.

Reporting: Prepare and maintain site and project reports in accordance with business requirements.

Operational Engagement: Participate in operational reviews and related mechanisms.

Data Management: Maintain updated project data and files in PMI tools. Compliance: Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, local regulations, GE QARA, and EHS standards.

EHS Leadership: Promote and enforce EHS policies during construction projects.

Technical Expertise: Lead helium calculations for MRI projects and support RF shielding and helium procurement activities.

Continuous Improvement: Drive simplification initiatives and continuous improvement programs focused on quality, cycle time, and cost optimization.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology, Engineering or Architecture. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven project management experience in building or construction projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong ability to interpret technical construction drawings.
  • Solid understanding of site planning and installation processes for medical imaging equipment.

Communication & Leadership:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including finance managers, physicians, hospital administrators, civil engineers, contractors, and government representatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Project Management Expertise:

  • Ability to monitor and manage critical path elements of projects.
  • Skilled in handling customer service, satisfaction, and contractual commitments.

Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver formal presentations to internal and external audiences.

Language: Fluent in English and local language.

Mobility: Willingness to travel national & international up to 60% of the time.

Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license (Category B).

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, physics, bioengineering and civil works.

Certifications: Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus. Industry Experience: Prior experience managing installation projects for medical imaging systems is highly desirable.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with GE HealthCare equipment portfolio and local regulations governing medical equipment installation and compliance.
