Join our team! In this exciting opportunity as Director, Enterprise Risk & Policy Governance, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing TR's global enterprise risk management framework, policies and practices.

As a
leader in our Risk team, you will have the responsibility to drive risk culture and ensure effective risk management practices are embedded across the organization.
 

 

About the Role  

In this opportunity as Director, Enterprise Risk & Policy Governance, you will:  

  • Mature and strengthen the Enterprise Risk Management Framework driving its adoption through the organisation, including the development and maintenance of policies, standards, procedures and supporting documentation 

  • Lead the Enterprise Policy Governance and the associated day to day activities, supporting the organization in simplifying its policy framework and adopting centralized standards. 

  • Lead the preparation of periodic risk reporting in collaboration with Risk Partners to support various senior stakeholder and board governance bodies. 

  • Lead the development and execution of a risk culture strategy with the aim of spreading risk awareness across the firm and drive enterprise-level activities focusing on the advancement of risk accountability and culture. 

  • Partner with senior stakeholders and functional leads to drive enterprise risk management maturity and framework adoption across TR. 

  • Help grow and mature the Risk & Compliance function, as well as a team of individual contributors. 

 

About You 

You’re a fit for the role of Director, Enterprise Risk & Policy Governance if your background includes:  

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in risk management, consulting and / or advisory and 5+ years in a leadership role. 

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing global, enterprise-level, and sustainable enterprise risk management frameworks in collaboration with various stakeholders and in an iterative manner. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present to various types of audience, as well as the ability to read the room, and navigate corporate dynamics. 

  • Native to risk management and all related concepts including compliance, sustainability and governance. 

  • Superb ability to collaborate with others across the company, building trust-based relationships, encouraging creative and critical thinking. 

  • Attention to detail, focus on output quality, data-driven conclusions, timely delivery and priority management. 

  • Proven track record of leading people, also through influence and building high-performing, geographically distributed teams.
