Star, MS - Filling industrial - Dry-ice

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

**Night Shift Dispatch** 9pm- 5am

**Occasional Overtime
**On call One Weekend Per month

Work hand in hand with our production team to insure a balanced business partnership Assign Drivers to trucks, determine driver routes, destinations, and timelines for the transporting of freight to an assigned destination.

Aid in driver training of DOT compliance and regulations as well as company rules and processes
Maintains customers updated on delivery status of loads and aid in providing tender
Tracks drivers and other necessary information electronically
Provide support to drivers as needed
Aid with ordering/coordinating regular maintenance of trucks with shop
Monitoring Hours of Service
Hands on Control of the loading/unloading of freight insuring SOP & Safety processes are met
Aid in ensuring shipping lanes are turning for our production team continues to flow with floor space demands
Other duties as assigned

  • Required Qualifications And Competencies

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Proven experience in transportation dispatching or a related field is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in transportation management software and other related programs.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong problem - solving tasks and decision-making abilities.

  • Forklift experience or willingness to gain experience is a must have

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
