Who we are looking for

You will be responsible for delivering actionable business intelligence to stakeholders across Re:Build businesses through the collection and collation of data from multiple sources and implementation of analytical reports with Power BI.

What you get to do

  • Partner with our member company and business unit stakeholders across Re:Build to identify opportunities, understand business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to collect and collate data from multiple sources (on-premises SQL databases, ERP, SaaS services, manufacturing systems, internally developed applications, etc.) into Power BI.
  • Partner with IT and Security personnel to develop and implement database and data warehouse infrastructure and automation processes as needed.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation and error-checking methods.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Perform data analysis to interpret reports and support business decision-making.
  • Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance, usability, and standardization.
  • Serve as Power BI technical subject matter expert in end user productivity, providing training and support on the effective use of Power BI and related analytic tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Power BI and other business intelligence tools.

What you bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Database Administrator, or similar role.
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), ETL (Extract, transform, load), data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Experience in SQL Server performance tuning is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL and other data manipulation languages.
  • To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S.

Location: Framingham, MA office - Hybrid work week 3 days in office.
