As a key, hands-on leader within the Hivemind on X - Commander solutions organization, you will lead, mentor, manage, and hire a growing team of talented software engineers working on complex C++ backend autonomy and React/TypeScript frontend software integration projects that leverage and extend our Hivemind Enterprise product for mission critical customer solutions on aircraft platforms like V-BAT, XQ-58, and F-16 for mission sets that include intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).

You will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of the team, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with talented frontend and backend engineers, technical leadership, designers, and product and program managers to deliver highly reliable, fault tolerant software to command-and-control teams of intelligent and autonomous aircraft to deliver first-in-class capabilities to the U.S. military and international customers. Your overarching objective is to be a candid, fearless leader, demonstrating grit and leading by example to improve the overall quality and reliability of our product solutions to protect service members and civilians with intelligent AI systems. (This role is generally 90% technical leadership and 10% people management.)
