Job Summary

The Project Manager I is responsible for business and data analysis, project planning and support for organizational projects. Will implement evaluation and analysis, budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning for new projects. Provides executive level administrative and support functions to their direct report and interacts with CHOC associates, management, outside consultants and vendors.

This Project Manager will report to the VP, Specialty Clinics Administration, and will be responsible for the maintenance of contracts, financial modeling, and other ad hoc projects within the department. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare, either hands on with contracts and financial analysis OR as an Administrative Intern. This role is a great opportunity to learn the administration side of healthcare, and provides great facetime with CHOC leaders.

*This position is hybrid, so you must be able/willing to be onsite in Orange, CA multiple days per week

Pay Range

Minimum $84,573 Midpoint $112,050 Maximum $139,547

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

* Required: Minimum three (3) years of Project Management experience. Two (2) years of business and/or financial analysis experience.

* Preferred: Previous healthcare experience.

Education

* Required: Bachelor's Degree.

* Preferred: Six Sigma Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential Business Analyst Certification (CBAP or PBA).

Specialized Skills

* Required: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio and MS Project. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards; care with sensitivity and respect; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations. Ability to think critically, work independently, manage multiple assignments, compose relevant written presentations; work well under pressure, problem solve, organize and prioritize workload, recall information with accuracy, be attentive to detail. Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others, provide leadership, be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies, work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure, lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate and accept direction.

* Preferred: Microsoft SharePoint Microsoft Project Server 2013.

Licensure

* Preferred: RHIT – American Health Information Management Association; RHIA – American Health Information Management Association.
