About The Role
The OTC Senior Manager will lead end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) operations within Dyson Business Services (DBS), overseeing key areas including Cash Applications, Credit Risk & Assessment, Collections, Disputes, and Deductions.
This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, governance, process transformation, and stakeholder collaboration while supporting DBS’ vision of building a Centre of Excellence (CoE).
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead and manage end-to-end OTC operations including:
- Cash Applications
- Credit Management & Assessment
- Collections & Disputes
- Deductions & Bad Debt Provisioning
- Cash Flow Forecasting, Analysis and driving better cash flow results
- Ensure delivery of KPIs such as DSO, cash flow forecasting, and service levels
- Drive effective resolution of escalations and operational challenges
Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering
- Effective stakeholder management including Finance Directors, Controllers and Market
- Collaborate across regions to improve market practices
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and leadership
Strategy, Governance & Process Excellence
- Establish strong governance frameworks across OTC processes to ensure control, compliance, and audit readiness
- Drive automation, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop strategies to address complex business challenges and improve performance
- Lead transitions, including documentation (SOPs, process maps) and stabilization
People Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 80+ members across multiple locations
- Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and innovation
- Provide coaching, regular feedback, and career development opportunities
- Drive performance management including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews
Service Delivery & Reporting
- Ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery across OTC functions
- Track and report performance metrics, insights, and improvement actions
- Utilize data and analytics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders

About You
Skills & Experience Required
- Education: B.Com / MBA (Finance/Accounting preferred)
- Experience:
- 15+ years in OTC / Accounts Receivable operations
- Strong experience across Collections, Disputes, Credit Management, and Cash Applications
- Proven experience managing teams of 60+ members, preferably across multiple locations
Core Competencies
- Strong understanding of OTC processes, financial controls, and compliance requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (comfortable with senior leadership)
- Strong analytical abilities with the capability to derive insights from financial data
- Experience in process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- High ownership mindset with a “can-do” attitude
Preferred Experience
- Expertise with SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine, or similar financial systems
- Lean / Six Sigma certification
- Prior exposure to shared services or COE environments
