Job Details

Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH seeks three Research Data Scientists to perform the following job duties: Utilize basic statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling to build algorithms and perform data analytics. Utilize programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar. Perform basic data analysis to include data validation, investigation, and testing of hypotheses. Assist Principal Investigator with transforming data to support the investigation of research questions Builds basic predictive models, and other mathematical or statistical models as needed by using modeling tools. Utilize process enhancement opportunities to improve the efficiency of data pulling, reporting, programming, operation and etc. Work to curate and process complex clinical and biological data. May communicate or present research findings. Identify technical issues and manages resolution for analytics programs.

Requirements:

Must have demonstrated proficiency in SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar. Must have Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related Life Science degree such as Neuroscience, Psychology or Genetics, or Computational Linguistics. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in degrees listed above and 2 years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning.
