The Opportunity

The Manager, Associate BDR - Rover Program Manager, APAC will lead a dynamic team of new-in-career Associate Business Development Representatives responsible for pipeline generation and early-stage client engagement across India, Asia and Australia.

This role focuses on hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing new Associate BDRs to ensure rapid ramp-up and high performance. The successful candidate will build a scalable talent pipeline that continually feeds the business with high-performing BDRs ready for advancement into new roles within the existing BDR organisation.

What You'll Do

Hiring & Onboarding

  • Own the full recruitment process for new Associate BDRs working with the local talent team through to final selection with the in-country BDMs.

  • Design and deliver a structured onboarding program for the Associate BDR organisation.

  • Ensure all new hires are fully ramped within target timelines of 6 weeks for go live.

  • Establish key metrics for ramp expectations and performance, such as time to productivity and activity metrics.

  • Support and coach outbound prospecting techniques, sales outreach and pipeline management.

  • Create individualised development plans that prepare Associate BDRs for internal career progression.

  • Lead by example through demonstrating best practices in communication, lead qualification, and tool usage, aka Outreach, Dynamics, ZoomInfo, Lusha, & Chorus.

  • Use analytics to identify skill gaps, optimize processes, and ensure consistent execution across the team.

Ongoing Rover Leadership

  • Lead a team of new in seat Associate BDRs in qualifying opportunities to achieve/exceed pipeline generation targets through inbound and outbound campaigns.

  • Working with the local BDM, ensure opportunities generated by Associate BDRs are of high quality and likely to convert to bookings.

  • Report on the Rover program to senior leadership across all key stakeholders including FLMs, MMs, VP of Marketing etc.

  • Drive performance against individual targets for team members, conduct consistent coaching and performance evaluations.

  • Report regularly to local BDM leaders on BDR performance in lead qualification and pipeline forecasts.  

  • Support local BDMs for account guidance and Anaplan alignment for the Rovers.

  • Ensure close alignment re target setting, account listings and focus with the local BDM leaders.

  • Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, coaching and recognition.

  • Be prepared to offer Rover’s new opportunities within Adobe within 6 months of recruitment.

  • Ensure compliance with Adobe tools and processes.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Strong understanding of the Marketing Technology space.

  • Proven BDR leadership skills. At least 2 years in management or team lead role.

  • Proven success in coaching and developing new in seat sales professionals.

  • Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing onboarding and/or training programs.

  • APAC regional experience.
