We are looking for a Logistics Intern to support the rollout and implementation of transportation management software across our logistics network. This internship provides hands-on experience with logistics operations, transportation systems, process improvement, and change management while working on real-world supply chain initiatives.

This is a full time (May - August 2026) internship based in Carmel, Indiana, and requires the ability to travel to support on-site implementation activities at operational locations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with logistics, transportation, operations, and IT teams to support transportation software rollout activities.
  • Assist with system testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing during implementation phases.
  • Help document current and future-state transportation processes and workflows.
  • Support change management efforts by assisting with training materials and end-user education.
  • Track implementation progress, issues, and action items to support successful deployments.
  • Analyze transportation and shipment data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide on-site and remote support during go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and transportation operations.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • The ideal candidate will be entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
  • Strong interest in logistics, transportation, and supply chain technology.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

This position will pay $18 - $21/hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience and education level.
