About the Role

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for an Actuarial Business Solutions, Specialist who is responsible for

• Lead AIA Vietnam’s modelling workstream, being trusted developer of AIA Vietnam Prophet models (OL/UL).

• Ensuring the good conduct of AIA Vietnam model policy and framework.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the deliverables of quarterly Prophet modelling process.

• Work with valuation teams (EV/IFRS17) to develop model changes.

• Work with Pricing team to implement new products in master Prophet model.

• Work with IT to build up required data supporting model development.

• Maintain and ensure the good conduct of AIA Vietnam model policy and framework.

• Being in contact with AIA Group to implement Group model changes and update.

• Manage Prophet and other technologies’ licenses used in Actuarial department.

• Develop/test new technology solutions to enhance reporting process.

• Work on transformation projects (Data, automation, AI) to improve current actuarial processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or economics

• Minimum 3 years. More junior candidate might be considered for Analyst position.

• Experience working with Prophet modelling.

• Knowledge of other programming languages (R, SQL, Python, etc.) is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of insurance products and business models.

• Good understanding of insurance profitability measures (VONB, OPAT, etc.)

• English fluency is necessary for this position.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, team player, organized and punctuality.

• Driven and result oriented

• Ability to multitask
