Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Quality Manager (Level L) to support the Aft Body (Composite Fabrication and Assembly & Integration) Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
The Senior Quality Manager for BSC Aft Body will be leading the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance to our Quality Management System, and integrate quality assurance activities across multiple manufacturing business units including Mid-body, Final Assembly and the BSC Delivery Center. This position requires strong leadership and people skills, ability to problem solve and be a proactive to identify issues and to develop and communicate corrective actions plans.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
3+ years of experience in leading teams (This includes managing team assignments, tracking status and developing a team’s talent)
3+ years of experience with organizational and team building skills performed in a cross-functional environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in a Quality and/or Production role
3+ years in Quality Assurance
Experience in quality leadership
Experience working in Delivery Centers and or Final Assembly Production
Experience interacting with Customers

Summary pay range: $134,300 - $181,700
