Job Description:

• Become the owner for an EMEA country, and take charge of its month-end closing activities - prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts (accounting of rebates, consignment, sales deferral etc.)

• Possess a solid understanding of inter-departmental and cross-team process dependencies

• Cultivate a strong understanding of the local business and work closely with the local teams – frequent communication and cooperation with business unit finance teams

• Assist Team Lead with requests from audit (internal and PWC)

• Be the tech savvy advocate for supporting automation and Finance improvement initiatives, also implement them within the team

• Delve deep into discrepancies and resolve them promptly

• Support ad-hoc projects, including technical initiatives and new business projects

• Support synergy within the team and uplift the team spirit and teamwork

• Ensure strong internal controls are in place in order to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings (accuracy of General Ledger accounting entries with GAAP, Compliance and SOX requirements)

• Bachelor degree
• 1-2 year(s) working experience
• Basic accounting & good financial knowledge
• Good understanding of the Income Statement (P&L)  and Balance Sheet  (B/S)
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
• MS Office literacy (Advanced MS Excel knowledge required
• Basic ERP knowledge (SAP)
• Proficient level of written and oral English
• Persistent/committed and able to work under time pressure
• Organized/ time-oriented and output-driven
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills with an ability to work with people at different levels and in remote locations
