Join BMI Group and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our competence center, shaping the future with a diverse team in Vilnius!
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing a centralised Intercompany Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Vilnius to own and manage the end to end intercompany process for BMI. This key role combines process design & governance, expert advisory, and operational delivery. You will drive standardisation, simplification, automation and compliance across all markets to optimize how BMI delivers its intercompany processes.
What you will be responsible for:
NTM Expert / Process Management / Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the global subject matter expert for the Group's Tolling Model, also known as the New Transaction Model ("NTM") — ensuring process alignment between markets, Corporate HQ, and tolling arrangements.
Lead stakeholder engagement with markets, tax, transfer pricing, and commercial teams on NTM flows and policy compliance.
Represent intercompany in governance forums and close reviews.
Global Process Specialist Role
Fulfill the Global Process Specialist (GPS) function for intercompany within RTR.
Create, maintain and update process documentation, global WIMs, training materials.
Support SAP and VIM system enhancement requirements for intercompany flows.
Act as change lead for new intercompany processes, trading partner codes, and mapping updates.
Operational Intercompany Management
Day-to-day coordination and oversight of IC transactions, reconciliations, settlements, and dispute resolution across all markets.
Standardise and monitor KPIs (e.g., % matched in IC, ageing of IC balances, number of manual journals).
Drive month end close readiness and ensure timely IC elimination in group reporting.
Provide operational support for high risk or complex transactions (e.g., flash sales, tolling invoices, recharges).
Core Deliverables
Process Standardisation: One global IC process covering trade, non trade, and allocations, with clear RACI.
System Optimisation: Implement VIM, SAP IC tool, and trading partner mapping fixes to reduce manual adjustments.
Compliance: Ensure Internal control compliance on IC approvals, postings, and eliminations.
Performance Tracking: Maintain and publish IC performance dashboards for RTR leadership.
Training & Capability: Build IC expertise in Vilnius and markets through targeted training and knowledge sharing.
About you:
Ownership & Expertise: Senior-level experience in process management within a multinational organization, with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting. Experience with intercompany processes is a plus.
Transformation Skills: A track record of successfully designing, implementing, and optimizing complex financial processes and controls. This includes deep expertise in GL reconciliations, month-end closing procedures, and financial reporting.
Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead a team and to drive action from peers and stakeholders who do not report to you. The ideal candidate will also have experience in mentoring junior GL accountants.
Adaptability: The maturity and resilience to excel in a rapidly changing and relatively immature organizational structure, with the ability to navigate complex GL structures and troubleshoot accounting discrepancies effectively.
Essential Tools: Expert knowledge of SAP (ideally S4 & ECC) and proficiency with MS Office/Google Suite. This includes a strong understanding of how to leverage these systems for GL analysis and reporting.
