This position will focus on growing business, management of relationships and orders for current manufacturing customers, as well as day-to-day management of direct report on-site Account Managers.  Previous sales team management and industrial experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:
·       Supervise Account Managers in Southern California Region growing K+S business interests in the region.  Promote personal and professional growth through coaching to succeed.
·       Answer customer questions regarding products and services, pricing, availability and any commercial issues.
Maintain high level of expertise of all applications to identify customer needs and recommend products and services.
Build relationships at all customer levels including with Plant, Facilities and Maintenance Management.
Be key voice and liaison between K+S and customer.
Learn benefits of STAMP database, assuring data input accuracy and integrity.  Review merits of program with customer as required.
Close sales and process order approvals as required.
Actively participate in plant sponsored initiative activities.
Introduce cost savings initiatives and look for ways to reduce customer maintenance spend while improving uptime.
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, K+S competition, industry pricing and customer health reporting findings to K+S Senior Leadership.
Negotiate and review contract details, and support Account Managers with any resolution of commercial issues.
·       Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.

Job Requirements: 
·       Must be well organized and self-directed.  Must be a self-starter with attention to details and accuracy.
·       Minimum of (5) years of Industrial management experience leading a sales team.
·       Sales experience with large OEM customers, preferably in aerospace industry.  Non-production plant sales experience is a plus.
·       Education: minimum of a high school diploma, but a 4-year degree is strongly preferred.
·       Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
·       Must have excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to speak clearly, confidently and professionally on the telephone and in front of the customer.
·       Strong solution selling skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels including Plant Manager, Controller, Engineering Managers, Maintenance Managers and Maintenance Team Members.
·       Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).  Knowledge of CRM is a plus.
·       Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.
·       Must reside in Southern California.
·       Must have valid driver’s license with no restrictions.  Must have active passport as some international travel may be required.
·       Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and prioritize activities.
