Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Buyer 1, Manufacturing Parts to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI.

In this role, you’ll support sourcing and cost reduction efforts for assigned commodities by analyzing data, assisting with strategy, coordinating with teams and suppliers, tracking progress, and ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.

A Day in the Life

  • Negotiate pricing and manage supplier selection to support cost reduction goals.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including analyzing and comparing suppliers.

  • Partner with internal teams to understand requirements and ensure supplier alignment.

  • Manage contracts, purchase orders, and cost-saving initiatives while tracking results.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure compliance, accurate reporting, and successful delivery on goals.

Who We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 0-2 years of purchasing experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, SCM, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work on-site in Farmington Hills, MI.

  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently and across teams.
