Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.

We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming today’s workforce.

Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.

In June 2022, we announced a $220 million Series D funding round co-led by StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. With a post-money valuation of $1.7bn, the round makes us the UK’s first EdTech unicorn.

But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.

Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.

The Opportunity

At Multiverse, People Partnering is a core driver of business performance, not a support function. In this 12-month fixed-term role, you will act as a generalist Senior People Partner, providing partnership to leaders across the business.

You will operate as a strategic advisor and operator, helping senior leaders—including VPs and C-suite—make better decisions while ensuring people fundamentals run well. This role functions closer to a Chief of Staff or strategic operator than a classic HRBP; you will be deeply embedded in strategy, headcount planning, and organizational design.

What you’ll do

  • Strategic Partnering: Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to improve performance, productivity, and team effectiveness.

  • Organizational Design: Support team structures, role clarity, and workforce planning aligned to both revenue targets and technical roadmaps.

  • Performance & Talent: Drive performance management cycles, calibrations, and promotion decisions. Lead succession planning and leadership upskilling efforts.

  • Operational Excellence & ER: Handle complex employee relations matters and high-level negotiations with pragmatic guidance.

  • Coaching: Provide clear, pragmatic coaching to managers on leadership, decision-making, and addressing underperformance early.

  • Change Management: Support leaders through organizational change, ambiguity, and evolving operating models during periods of growth.

  • Commercial Impact: Translate business goals (growth, retention, revenue productivity) into practical people plans and speak the language of revenue and margin.

About you

  • Experience: You have a proven track record of partnering with high-growth tech organizations in a fast-paced, scaling environment.

  • Strategic Operator: You are comfortable switching between high-level strategic thinking and detailed execution.

  • Commercial Instinct: You understand how people decisions affect business outcomes and are opinionated on commercial strategy.

  • Credible Partner: You build trust quickly with senior stakeholders (VPs and C-suite) while remaining approachable and supportive to teams.

  • Low Ego & High Impact: You are comfortable working across different layers of the organization and have the "clock speed" to keep up with a high-growth business.

  • Pragmatic Thinker: You balance empathy with accountability and organizational risk with people experience.

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 7 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days and 4 company-wide wellbeing days

  • Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Gympass and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid & remote work offering - with weekly or monthly visits to the London office and the opportunity to work abroad 45 days a year

  • Team fun - weekly socials, company wide events and office snacks!

  • Work-from-anywhere scheme - you'll have the opportunity to work from anywhere, up to 10 days per year
