Review Applications for all driver types to ensure compliance with company hiring criteria and DOT regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position.
• Review applications, consumer reports, employment verifications, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with hiring criteria and DOT regulations.
• Assist recruiters and assistants when additional information is needed to complete review.
• Create Application Approval when file is complete.
• Assist with the disqualification of applicants and complete status work sheets.
• Perform related tasks as assigned by management staff.

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to be self motivated and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast paced results oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate, both written and orally.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Skill in operating a PC.
• Skill in operating office equipment such as a fax machine, copier and telephones.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws including: ADA, FMLA, FCRA, and DOT Regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year driver recruiting experience at Werner.
• One to two years PC experience, including Windows.
• Minimum of one year experience working with Labor Laws and DOT regulations.
• Six months to one year AS400 and Imaging experience preferred.
