Overview:

Leads new product development strategy, portfolio management and implementation for key parts of Church & Dwight’s iconic Fabric Care brands, Arm & Hammer, OxiClean and XTRA. This position is based in Ewing, New Jersey.

What you’ll do:

· Shape the Future of Laundry at Church & Dwight by exploring new form and white space opportunities across the Fabric Care portfolio (2025 and beyond)

· Unlock actionable insights in current and emerging segments to gain a deep understanding of the consumer, helping to define and prioritize consumer needs

· Identify new product concepts based on trends, global innovation, consumer needs, creating and testing concepts, artwork and packaging development.

· Identify, assess, commercialize, and champion new product growth opportunities, including: developing a compelling innovation strategy and pipeline, conducting category/competitive analysis to validate size of opportunities; consumer validation of innovation ideas; R&D validation of the technical pathways; Operations validation of the manufacturing strategy; Finance validation of Gross Margin

· Develop expertise in the categories of the SBU, including competitive assessment, global trend analysis, supplier assessments, consumer and customers/channel opportunities

· Leverage new tools and testing methodologies to gain deep understanding of the target consumer

· Align opportunities with long-term Brand strategies and Sales goals

· Lead new product initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams

What you’ll need:

· BA/BS required; MBA preferred

· 9-12 years total marketing business experience (Fabric Care experience preferred)

· A balance of art & science – ability to think creatively & strategically, with a strong business mindset, and the ability to develop & judge new ideas and launch strategies

· Strong strategic and influencing skills, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and able to manage ambiguity

· Experience in category analysis, digital marketing & analytics, P&L analysis, and forecasting

· Strong understanding of common consumer marketing research tools and techniques

· Experience with P&L analysis, leading and developing people
