Job Description

TEL designs and manufactures complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Our equipment integrates a wide variety of wafer processing technologies from wet to vacuum; and all the support systems to make them run: Electrical power systems, mechanical utilities, PLC controls, vacuum technology, custom design robotics and mechanisms, high voltage, RF generators, complex motion control, process chemical delivery and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering, including the set up and operation of process equipment
  • Prepare records, charts, and graphs of test results
  • Operate metrology tools, (including particle counter, film thickness measurement, and others as needed), to qualify process equipment and optimize processes
  • Adjust hardware/software parameters to correct issues or execute experiments
  • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on equipment
  • Perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment and facility equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree
  • 2 years of related experience in semiconductor processing in thin film deposition or etch

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in high volume manufacturing facility
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining vacuum-based processing equipment
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent communications and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starting individual with strong technical and hands-on skills
  • willingness to work a compressed shift 4days x 10hour/day including on weekend day.
