🚀 Whatnot

Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe to buy, sell, and discover the things you love. We’re building the future of ecommerce, bringing together community, shopping and entertainment. We are committed to our values, and as a remote co-located team, we operate out of hubs within the US, UK, Ireland, Poland, and Germany today.

We’re innovating in the fast-paced world of live auctions from fashion, beauty, electronics to collectibles like trading cards, comic books, and even live plants. Whatnot has something for everyone.

And, we’re growing. Whatnot has been one of the fastest growing marketplaces and we’re hiring forward-thinking problem solvers across all functional areas.

💻 Role

  • Work closely with the recruiters and hiring managers to take the lead over interview scheduling across all teams with distributed hiring teams and candidates.
  • Leverage tools from our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, to automate tasks and focus on candidate experience.
  • Gather metrics and help prepare reporting to keep hiring teams in the loop and the recruiting team on track.
  • Support the recruiting team’s enablement by facilitating trainings, creating and maintaining documentation, and fielding ad hoc questions.
  • Develop relationships with the recruiting team to communicate important updates and proactively address issues that may arise in scheduling.
  • Experience with a scheduling tool, ideally Goodtime

Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York hubs and willing to be in person 2-3 days/week.

👋 You

Curious about who thrives at Whatnot? We’ve found that low ego, a growth mindset, and leaning into action and high impact goes a long way here.

  • You have at least one year of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator in a growing company. You enjoy the challenges of scheduling across multiple calendars and the nuances of providing an exceptional candidate experience. Huge plus if you’ve been a Recruiting Coordinator in a startup!
  • You are exceptionally well organized. You can systematically balance numerous priorities at once. You have an eye towards efficiency and making processes better.
  • You balance your time well. You hold yourself accountable and follow through on your work with little supervision.
  • You provide an incredible candidate experience. You sweat the small stuff but keep the big picture in mind. You know that a job search is a challenging task and by sweating the details you can provide a more human experience for everyone that interacts with WhatNot during a hiring process.
  • You have experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Greenhouse) or CRM systems. If you’ve not used these tools, you should feel comfortable researching them and pushing buttons to see what happens.
  • You are resourceful. You're willing to find the answers to questions but ask for help when needed.
  • You are persistently helpful. You are an unstoppably helpful member of our People team, to both the hiring managers and candidates.
