Responsibilities for Business Planner
- Provide a solid understanding of the data center market dynamics of demand and competitive landscape on the target regions.
- Bring knowledge and expertise related to the client preferences, requirements, contractual SLAs and critical KPIs of the operation of data centers.
- Deliver inputs for the business model related to the revenue stream, such as rent ranges and CPI revision tolerance.
- Ensure all commitments at business plan level reconcile and meet corporate growth objectives during delivery and operational phases.
- Monitor business and operation changes to ensure plans remain current and valid.
- Perform business process analysis/business impact analysis (BPA/BIA), risk assessments of essential functions and/or information systems in accordance with federal directives and industry best practices.
- Analyze performance data, highlighting key findings with clients.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and analyze opportunities to achieve the financial plan.
- Assist clients in ensuring key retail metrics are achieved on the OTB at the channel and gender level.
- Coordinate meetings with clients, document and distribute meeting minutes, ensure actions items are completed on time, communicate project status, escalate issues to management as appropriate.
- Ensure reconciliation with financial goals such as revenue and margin.
- Prepare and update the monthly/annual forecasts and track the performance to Plan.
- Develop tools, manage, and recap weekly reporting for review by business partners, supporting required analysis and business decisions..
- Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal and external customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements.
- Prepare and conduct training briefings and overviews to educate workforce personnel.
- Create executive-level summaries and analysis that identify and make a compelling case for future opportunities.
Qualifications for Business Planner
- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business, business administration, computer science, engineering, statistics or information systems.
- Fluent in Spanish and English as a minimum.
- Prior experience in a data center Hyperscaler, Collocator, or Private Equity firm on DC markets.
- Prior experience as a consultant.
- Is a critical thinker and problem solver.
- A collaborator and decision maker.
- Strong time management and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation and attention to detail.
- Experience with applicable programs, software, and systems.
- Experience with business case development and onboarding.
- Familiar with financial benchmarks, liabilities, depreciation, and amortization.
- Comfortable running budget plans and collaborating with other teams to accomplish goals.
