Job Description Summary

As Gas Insulated Switchgear Product Market Leader, you will develop market initiatives for the GIS product line, including market research, competitive analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The outcomes of this activity will support directly Product Leaders's decisions on product strategy, positioning, and launch initiatives.
You will act as a connector between product, sales, and marketing teams — gathering market intelligence and commercial insights that enable Product leaders to make informed decisions on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis & Portfolio Planning

  • Analyze market trends, customer expectations, applications, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities and portfolio priorities.
  • Coordinate with the PT marketing team to consolidate market intelligence and contribute GIS-specific market assessment data to support portfolio and roadmap discussions led by the Product Leader.
  • Monitor product competitiveness through the LTS dashboard.
  • Capture and consolidate voice of customer and regional market feedback to anticipate emerging needs and business opportunities.
  • Act as a key interface between market requirements and sales expectations, feeding structured inputs to the Product Leader to support alignment of the portfolio with customer needs and business priorities.

Commercial Support

  • Develop commercial support materials such as value propositions, battle cards, and product presentations to strengthen sales effectiveness.
  • NPI Commercialization: support the launch of new products and solutions, ensuring regional sales teams have the technical and competitive tools to win in the field.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, tendering, or engineering; experience in the switchgear or high-voltage sector is an advantage.

Competencies: Knowledge of Gas Insulated Switchgear Products and Portfolio, power transmission and distribution, or related industrial sectors is a required baseline. Understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape — or demonstrated willingness to develop these skills — is required. Ability to work effectively in a team and matrix organization.

Commercial Acumen: Emerging ability to connect technical product features to commercial and operational value for customers and GEV markets, or potential to develop this capability.
