The Assistant FSO will interface with all Radiance Technologies personnel levels, including executive leadership, senior management, and government personnel, to ensure contract security compliance with 32 CFR Part 117. Responsibilities include the maintenance and oversight of personnel security, information security, physical security, document control, subcontractor management, DD Form 254s, and counterintelligence. In addition, the candidate will support and maintain site and program security plans, processes, and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports all Huntsville FSO activities and responsibilities in 32 CFR Part 117 compliance.
  • Perform as “Acting” FSO in the absence of the FSO.
  • Conduct annual security self-inspections and support DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments or Continuous Monitoring Engagements.
  • Manages the document control accountability process in accordance with the 32 CFR Part 117, DoD, and other applicable regulations and directives which govern receiving, inventory, safeguarding, marking, transportation and destruction of classified information.
  • Assist the Corporate Physical Security Manager with access control systems and physical security measures for multiple facilities and open storage areas.
  • Manage DISS, visit requests, personnel security inquiries and eAPP initiations.
  • Oversees classified visitor and meeting activities.
  • Supports visitor control operations and receptionist rotation and activity.
  • Assists in Security Education and Awareness (SETA) development, initiatives, and presentations.
  • Assist staff with completion and submittal of SF86s, SCI nominations and special access packages
  • Oversees CAC requests and acquisitions for multiple customers.
  • Supports program management in security compliance, documentation, and guidance.
  • Stays apprised of new regulations and security developments.

Required Skills:

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge in 32 CFR Part 117 and other DoD security directives.
  • Proficient in DD Form 254 development and management.
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Must be focused and pay high attention to detail.
  • Microsoft 365 products.

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial security.

Desired Qualifications:

  • TS clearance.
  • Proficient in DISS, NBIS, SWFT, NISS.
  • Experience with submitting CAC requests and SCI nominations.
  • Experience conducting security incident inquiries.
  • Experience with FCL package submissions and requirements. 
  • Insider Threat Program Management.
  • Operations Security (OPSEC)
