The SE will assist in executing Data Governance, Data Extension & Reduction Requests, Data Characterization and Tagging Support, Data Management Requests, Historical Data Migration, and Corporate Warehouse governance and support activities withing the SODO office. SODO plays a large role and coordinates with all directorates, mission and compliance capabilities to ensure data is usable across the enterprise. Shall have a firm understanding of operational data, data ingest, and data flow processes to validate and track processing and governance information. Should have an understanding of front ed processing, analytic and storage infrastructure, and how queries are pulled. In addition, familiarity with various HDM capabilities and methodologies, Io include appropriate toolsets and their functions, limitations and applications.  Shall possess solid technical writing skills to be able to translate technical information contained within processes and infrastructure descriptions into requirements and actionable activities.

Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Works as part of a team with project managers and customers to fulfil requirements. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
