Primary responsibility of this position is focused on the management of the IT RUN budget. The individual assigned to this position is responsible to understand the full IT RUN budget, forecast and actuals, to drive actions that results in reductions of the forecast, and to provide support in driving the run forecast to achieve approved budget

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the IT operation expense forecast and actuals for assigned towers.

  • Manage service renewals for assigned towers by working closely with Service Owners, IT Finance and SCM.

  • Work closely with IT Finance supporting month, quarter and year end closings.

  • Logging purchase requests to the system (eCatalog).

  • Track purchase requests, purchase orders and invoice approvals for IT operations expense cost.

  • Coordinate financial reviews with assigned suppliers ensuring service continuity and timely invoice processing.

  • Troubleshoot and drive escalations of unpaid invoices, leveraging Account Payable team as well as external suppliers.

  • Work with respective Service Owners to identify opportunities for operation cost reductions, progress tracking.

  • Identify opportunities for IT cost forecast process improvements and optimizations.

  • Provide analysis within the area of responsibility to assist in decision making.

Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology, with an emphasis on financial analysis and reporting, or degree in computer science of Finance.

  • Pro-active, quick learner, interested in quickly learning new responsibilities.

  • Prepared to adapt to rapid changes and challenging situations.

  • Attention to details and accuracy.

  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.

  • Ability to create constructive relationships, influence and communicate at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Fluent written and oral English communication.

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Highly self-motivated and able to work based on partially incomplete information.

  • Promote a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Proven project planning and management experience.

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Change Management Process and Tools would be an asset.
