Job Summary

Are you someone who thrives on meeting deadlines and enjoys being a reliable team player? In this role, you’ll be responsible for gathering data for established reports, supporting cash application processes, funding contracts, and handling sales-related discounts. We’re seeking an individual who takes satisfaction in processing data, preparing reports, and providing excellent support to both internal and external customers.

What You’ll Do

1. Administer and reconcile transactions on a consistent basis to administer payment processing, coordinate the transmission of data, generate various inbound and outbound interfaces or reports as per company and legislative policies. 

2. Field general credit inquiries by phone, in person or through written communication, identifying areas of opportunity and suggesting solutions.   

3. Assist with projects as needed including, but not limited to, data mining, creating models for decision support, reporting, and system enhancements, upgrades, and user acceptance testing.

4. Process associated funding of assets, vendor payments or equipment discounts, providing input for optimization of accomplishing the financial objectives of the department or company.  

What We’re Looking For

- Associate degree in Business, Finance or other related field with three years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Understanding of intermediate accounting principles and business terminology including advanced Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in Excel.

Travel

- No travel is expected of this position. 

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
