About the Role:

As a trusted business partner, the technology team provides reliable technology,​ are customer focused, and support experiences that propel Markel’s employees and customers to what is possible.

As a low-code software engineer, you are expected to create and develop applications that meet business needs, review and optimise business processes, design, build, and support built business applications.

It is essential that the successful candidate is able to participate in business requirements capturing sessions, work iteratively, and have close contact with stakeholders to build best solutions.

What we ask of you:

  • Establishes strong relationships across all teams in order to fulfil an application implementation brief

  • Work closely with business teams for quick prototyping (mock-ups), gathering feedback, and creating solutions that are user-friendly in an agile manner

  • Ability to build applications required to automate processes using low-code platforms

  • Ability to streamline and automate business workflows by integrating various systems and databases

  • Prior experience in a similar or related role is essential.
