Your role:
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar technologies.
• Integrate security scanning, code quality checks, and compliance automation into build and release workflows.
• Build automation scripts and developer tooling (Python or similar) to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
• Contribute to Code Hub Platform capabilities, including Backstage plugin development, self-service workflows, and AWS-hosted supporting services.
• Assist in deploying and operating platform services using Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud-native tools.
• Improve observability and reliability of automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand developer needs, collect feedback, and co-create solutions.
• Promote clean code practices and craftsmanship principles.
• Support InnerSource contribution models and documentation practices
Minimum required Education & experience :
5- 8 years exp in DevOps & CI/CD Skills with Bachelor's Degree / Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology
Minimum required Experience:
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of GitHub Actions or equivalent systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot pipeline, build, integration, and deployment issues.
• Experience integrating automated quality/security checks.
• Solid foundation in software development with proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#).
• Ability to design and maintain reliable software components or automation tools.
• Interest in developer experience and platform tooling.
• Foundational understanding of AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred).
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud-native concepts.
• Experience collaborating in agile engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills in distributed environments.
