Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to support unique US Navy program based on the island of Diego Garcia.
The Custodial Supervisor has primary responsibility for the day-to-day operations and management of the housing and custodial infrastructure including operations and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and utilities. Ensures all site operations are in compliance with the goals of the customer and according to company policies and procedures.
Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
- Establishes work requirements, coordinates, prioritizes and successfully completes short and long term projects.
- Has oversight over Faculties Cleaning, Temporary, and Permanent Housing procedures and processes for base.
- Manages objectives, strategy and performance through development of annual plans, budgets and short and long range plans as well as monitoring performance relative to established plans and budgets.
- Ensures that all purchasing and inventory control for the facility is cost effective.
- Ensures building integrity and maintenance of electrical, water, air systems and maintenance of facility grounds.
- Oversees facility operation including general maintenance of HVAC and electrical systems and installation of customer and company mechanical/electrical solutions.
- Provides work and service requests where required.
- Oversees and implements all safety policies and procedures. Ensure that all safety requirements are observed.
- Prepares and presents reports to senior management regarding the status of facilities activities, construction and/or renovation projects as required.
- Responsible for the employment, training and performance evaluation of Facilities employees.
- Coordinates Housing assignments with USAG-KA Representatives.
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned

- Advanced knowledge of building operations and management.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience & Education
- Eight (8) years of experience in facilities, housing management.
- Preferred at least five (5) years of related management experience.
- Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
- Normal office environment.
- Living and working conditions at some assignment locations could be remote and uncomfortable.
Travel
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
