Introduction to the Job

As a Senior project change manager, you help ASML prepare for the future. You lead large change efforts that shape how significant amounts of people work. In this role, you join the Planning & Delivery (P&D) sector in a team of project leads and change managers that drive capability step-ups across several business areas and technical domains. Your expertise ensures that teams adopt new ways of working with confidence, clarity, and long-term success. You support ASML’s mission to advance the world of semiconductor technology by helping the business absorb change smoothly and sustainably.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior project change manager, you coach senior leaders, guide peers, and drive the change strategy for complex, cross‑sector programs. You use your experience to recognize organizational needs, define the right approach, and help teams adopt new processes effectively. You will:

  • Review and manage the deployment of all change management tools and processes within the sector and give guidance to change management peers

  • Review and develop the recommendations, guidelines from a change management perspective to be integrated in the overall project by the project teams

  • Lead and execute the process of embedding the required change with the goal to have business ready to adopt and embed the impact in a sustainable way

  • Formulate standards (best known methods) together with peers in ASML in a competence center approach and coaches peers in own field of expertise

  • Participate in strategy setting for change management budget in the overall project budget

  • Ensure integration of change processes and teams as part of larger scale change programs cross-sector

  • Review and develop the change strategy and plan to be agreed upon with the key stakeholders

  • Drive local/sector stakeholder management. Performs local stakeholder analysis. Defines and coordinates local/sector stakeholder interventions (using the stakeholder management approach blueprint), adapting to local needs

  • Review and execute the Change plan according to ASML's change management framework with high flexibility to adapt the plan to changing requirements and complexity

  • Develop the expertise and motivate the team by mentoring and guiding change experts and coordinators

Education and Experience

You bring deep expertise in change management and a strong track record leading large transformation programs. Minimum requirements include:

  • A master’s degree in organizational psychology, business administration, or a related field

  • At least 10 years of experience in project/system/IT related change management

  • Proven experience leading change in complex, international environments

  • Experience coaching senior leaders and mentoring peers

  • Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Power BI, and collaboration platforms is a plus

  • Experience working with structured project or program environments

Other Information

You will be part of the P&D Program Management team within the P&D Strategy & Improvement department. The role is office based in Veldhoven with limited travel. No shift work is expected. ASML supports your development with extensive learning options and international mobility opportunities.
