ABOUT UNILEVER

With 3.4 billion people in over 190 countries using our products every day, Unilever is a business that makes a real impact on the world. Work on brands that are loved and improve the lives of our consumers and the communities around us. We are driven by our purpose: to make sustainable living commonplace, and it is our belief that doing business the right way drives superior performance. At the heart of what we do is our people – we believe that when our people work with purpose, we will create a better business and a better world.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Unilever is transforming how we plan, create, activate, and measure marketing - shifting toward a more integrated, AI-enabled operating model across Content, Media, Measurement, and Analytics. This transformation runs simultaneously across our business units: Personal Care, Beauty & Wellbeing, Foods and Home Care.

The Change Management Lead owns the people and change dimension of this program end-to-end. This means designing and driving a dual-stream change strategy, leading all program communications, and serving as the primary change partner to media and marketing capability (MMC) leadership. The role requires someone who can hold complexity across multiple workstreams, operate credibly at the executive level, and create structure and momentum in an environment that is still taking shape.

This is a dedicated project role, full-time position. The successful candidate will be the program's change nerve center.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design and lead the end-to-end change strategy for Project Neo across Personal
  • Care, Foods, Home Care and Beauty & Wellbeing, managing multiple workstreams with different scope and intensity
  • Lead workflow mapping and new ways of working design partnering with business leads to identify process shifts, role interfaces, and operating model changes that need to land at the team lever
  • Drive tool adoption planning across AI-enabled and new platform capabilities, ensuring teams have the clarity, confidence, and support to shift how they work
  • Define and document roles and responsibilities within the new operating model, bringing precision to who does what and how teams interface across functions
  • Own all program communications end-to-end developing the enterprise Neo narrative, sequencing messaging by audience and phase, and drafting executive briefings, leadership communications, and manager toolkits
  • Establish and manage feedback cadences that surface adoption barriers, track sentiment, and inform real-time adjustments to the change approach
  • Build and maintain stakeholder engagement across business units, mapping readiness and managing resistance at senior levels
  • Lead the development of program playbooks that codify new ways of working and enable teams to sustain change beyond the program lifecycle
  • Design and facilitate leadership alignment sessions that bring both business units together at key program moments
  • Drive the integrated change workplan, manage cross-functional dependencies, and maintain program pace and accountability

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience leading projects or change management on complex transformation programs
  • Demonstrated experience managing parallel or multi-stream change across different organizational contexts simultaneously
  • Strong project management discipline: ability to build, own, and drive a multi-phase integrated workplan
  • Hands-on experience with workflow redesign, operating model transitions, and role clarity work in complex organizations
  • Track record of driving tool or technology adoption at scale, with a structured approach to enablement and confidence-building
  • Exceptional written communication skills; capable of drafting executive-level content without editorial support
  • Proven ability to facilitate senior leadership sessions and navigate executive dynamics with credibility and composure
  • Experience developing playbooks, capability frameworks, or adoption toolkits that outlast the program that created them
  • Fluency in marketing or commercial transformation contexts - AI-enabled operating models, in-house capability building, or agency model shifts is a strong advantage
  • Experience working in or alongside large, matrixed global organizations; FMCG or consumer goods background preferred
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to create clarity and structure where none yet exists
