Windy Hill Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate veterinary assistant to join our animal hospital. The veterinary assistant will be responsible for assisting the doctors with examining and monitoring our patients, maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in exam and surgical rooms. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn new skills and develop their talents. Being passionate, loving and caring towards our patients, clients, and staff is a must. Having excellent communication and organizational skills is a bonus. If you are looking for a professional, energetic, no day the same, animal hospital to work at then we are looking forward to meeting you. 

  •  1+ year of prior veterinary experience
  • Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
  • Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
  • Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Positive team-player willing to continue to learn
