We are searching for a Network Engineer to fulfill multiple responsibilities in support of the Prologis Managed Services and Cloud Migration strategy. This individual will actively support this strategy through a combination of technical skill, architectural and financial analysis and vendor management. This role will include responsibility for ensuring delivery of cloud-based services: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) and Managed Services by our Cloud partners through regular measurement and reporting. Responsibility for the daily operations, health and maintenance of all on premise network infrastructure is included.
The ideal candidate will bring 7 - 10 years’ experience in network administration and management. The candidate should have a grasp on current and emerging network technologies including virtualization of all networking components; SD-Wan, switches and firewalls. The candidate must demonstrate a team attitude and a keen interest in the success of others as well as possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Troubleshoot issues regarding capacity, uptime, escalated issues and quality
- Establish and report on operational monitoring, event triggers and alerting
- Responsible for capacity utilization, trending and forecast reporting.
- Ensure Cloud Service delivery is per SLA; managing provider relationship effectively
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions and work well under pressure.
- Ensure that network assets in a hybrid environment are identified and maintained to appropriate patch revisions and security policies applied.

- Possess a solid understanding of core networking concepts to include routing and switching.
- Knowledge of Cisco Routers, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) , Switching
- Knowledge of Juniper routers and switches
- Knowledge of network monitoring solutions (Solar Winds, Appneta, Riverbed Cascade / Opnet preferred).
- Working knowledge of firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX a plus).
- Experience with VoIP and Video required.
- Configure and setup Palo Alto, Cisco or Sonicwall Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and Security appliances for access to vital business applications
- Design, setup and configure complex switching environments
- Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications
