About the job

The Red Hat Services team is looking for an Associate manager in Santiago, Chile. In this role, you will be managing the team of consultants and architects, in terms of their allocation, their technical career path and training, you will also manage one-on-one meetings, escalation situations, performance and development, and general team coordination within your responsibility.

You’ll oversee the delivery of your assigned projects from kickoff to closeout, including defining scope details and monitoring the project progress to ensure that it aligns with customer expectations and signed contracts.

What you will do

  • Accurately and consistently provide revenue forecasts for your territory

  • Design and implement effective, high-impact technical and business solutions for Red Hat's customers with focus on our technologies

  • Manage revenue goals across all practices; meet margin and billability targets

  • Ensure successful delivery of all projects

  • Coordinate consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration within your team

  • Sell and manage complex, multi-product solutions using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies

  • Grow your revenue base on a quarterly basis

  • Manage escalations without supervision

  • Assist with negotiating Red Hat master services agreements and statements of work (SOWs) with the customers and Red Hat Legal team

  • Manage a team of RH consultants and architects, plan, design and monitor people development in order to achieve QoS expected by RH Customers

  • Work with customers in order to understand expected business outcomes and project key milestones in order to align consultants execution and generate the best impact posible on customers.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, relevant technical training, or experience with architecture or technical consulting

  • Good understanding of enterprise architecture technologies including application development and infrastructure

  • Experience working in sales or professional services sales support including developing SoWs, pricing, large-scale proposal development, and customer development

  • Practical experience with people management including a successful record of talent development within a team

  • Experience with customer service as a professional services consultant or engineer

  • Knowledge of project management processes and experience with revenue-based project reporting

  • Understanding of the Red Hat business strategy and economic model; good business insight and judgment

  • Ability to understand the technical impact of projects and the business impact on both Red Hat and customers in delivering and scoping projects

  • Fluent language skills in Spanish and English

  • Willingness to travel 25%
