About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Director to lead our Coca-Cola account in Montreal. This is a pivotal role responsible for the overall strategic direction, client relationship management, and successful execution of integrated marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong leader, and an excellent communicator with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional results. Fluency in both English and French is essential for this role. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Client Relationship Management: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level Coca-Cola stakeholders in Canada. 
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities. 
  • Proactively anticipate client needs and provide tailored counsel and solutions. 
  • Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on campaign progress, performance, and insights. 
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings, presentations, and workshops. 
  • Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction. 

Strategic Leadership: 

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the internal team, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency goals. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for Coca-Cola. 
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and creative marketing solutions. 

Campaign Management: 

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital, social media, traditional advertising, experiential). 
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. 
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., creative, media, production) to ensure seamless campaign execution. 
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports and analysis to clients. 

Team Leadership: 

  • Lead and mentor a team of account managers and other team members. 
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members. 
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment. 
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability. 
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. 

Business Development: 

  • Identify opportunities to grow the Coca-Cola account and expand the agency's services. 
  • Develop and present proposals for new projects and initiatives. 
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the agency. 

Financial Management: 

  • Manage account budgets and ensure profitability while ensuring diligent and thorough control of account-related revenue and expenses. 
  • Develop and track project budgets. 
  • Approve invoices and expenses. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in managing large and complex accounts, ideally in the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, with a focus on integrated marketing campaigns. 
  • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is essential. 
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics. 
  • Strong understanding of administrative and finance principles. 
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian and Quebec markets. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira) is a plus.
