Job Summary

Responsible for working in conjunction with Area Director, Region and Division staff to develop, implement and measure sales and marketing programs and initiatives in a timely manner. Programs are designed to meet/exceed subscriber and cash flow projections in a competitive marketplace.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

    • Partners cross-functionally with Region and Division partners to support and ensure sales results in the field sales channel by means of effectively deploying defined sales programs and identifying best practices and process improvements to share across the Region/Division.
    • Supports identification and use of defined key productivity metrics which measure/define the criteria of success for sales teams. Manages teams and metrics and develops/distributes reports as directed.
    • Ensures sales consultants are clear on daily, weekly and monthly objectives with a full vision of year-end department goals. Requires that all frontline consultants are trained in accordance with the appropriate learning plans including classroom, coaching, simulations, eLearning modules and others as directed.
    • Ascertains that all sales consultants are fully knowledgeable on Comcast product offerings, branding messages and current offers/promotions. Validates all reporting of sales and installs numbers and other metrics, as directed, on an ongoing basis but at least weekly.
    • Works with IT compensation, divisional operations, and other departments to ensure appropriate sales routing and assignments are distributed, validated and reported.
    • Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales quotas via managing by metrics, coaching and performance management in-person and virtually.
    • Develop and Implement customer lead programs with real estate and new home builder agents to gain early customer sales opportunities
    • Develop and execute pre-marketing/selling tactics in new rural expansion areas, working with construction and marketing teams to create early awareness of service availability
    • Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, assertiveness, and results orientation;
    • Recruit, select, and retain a high-quality professional sales force that can meet the needs of customers.
    • Observes, develops, coaches and manages representative performance by communicating sales and service quality expectations, standards of performance, and providing on-going feedback and interaction focused on individual development strategies.
    • Proven ability to effectively partner and build consensus across functional areas.
    • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
    • Must meet the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to, the ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions
    • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
    • May require occasional to frequent in-state and out-of-state travel to rural areas necessary.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
    • Willing to travel and work in a rural environment;
    • Ability to pass driving record background check (i.e. moving violations, accidents, license suspension, etc.).
    • Financial, time, and plan management proficiency;
