Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for a Customer Experience Analyst to join our Customer Operations team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. Our work plays a critical role in communities we serve across Idaho and Oregon, and we’re working hard to safely provide our customers with the reliable, affordable, clean energy they depend on. While this position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote.

What does a Customer Experience Analyst do for us?

The Customer Experience Analyst plays a key role in shaping and enhancing customer interactions across digital and non-digital touchpoints. Under limited supervision and guidance, this role manages multiple and/or creates complex customer experience products, customer experience programs, customer digital solutions, or offerings. This role includes a strong focus on digital customer experience, acting as a product owner or business lead for many customer-facing digital tools. It also includes strategic program/product design, process development and improvement and system integration, marketing and communications, vendor relationship management, consulting other business units, training, testing, and reporting of results. This individual has comprehensive, specific, and progressive knowledge related to the area of discipline.

A COMPETITIVE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

Knowledge of:

  • Common software programs such as web browsers, Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Customer experience terms and products and utility company operations

  • In-depth data analysis and reporting knowledge, including the ability to present program information effectively to internal and external audiences

  • Develop alternatives and evaluate their value and potential for meeting company needs
  • Analyze large and/or complex datasets and databases
  • Prepare comprehensive written and oral reports of problems, alternatives, and recommendations


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field

OR

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Project Management training or course completion or the ability to obtain within 1 year of employment

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in managing or supporting project, product, program, or customer experience functions, or related area

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professionals Certification


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position.
