Job Description of the position 

The PLM Visualization R&D team is building the core visualization capabilities that enable users to view, inspect, and interact with product data throughout the product lifecycle without requiring native CAD tools. Working in Pune, you will play a lead role in enhancing Creo View Web, PTC’s browser‑based 3D visualization solution, delivering high‑performance, intuitive user experiences for complex engineering data.

Looking for a talented and motivated individual who is interested in growing their software development skills. As a member of the Visualization team, you will work in a fast-paced environment collaborating with peers and other PLM R&D teams to deliver a solution that powers visualization across PLM R&D.  

Your Team 

Describe the team this individual will be part of and how they fit into the overall company. 

Your team is co-located in Pune but works closely with a number of globally distributed teams and individuals. The team is responsible for developing the Creo View Web frontend application. The team practices iterative, continuous software development following the DevOps philosophy and agile methodologies.   

Your Day-to-Day 

What are some of the things this person will be responsible for on a day-to-day basis? 

• Implement & maintain features in the existing product suite  
• Design and plan features with your peers 
• Perform code reviews with peers  
• Assist with architectural spikes and explorations  
• Assist product owners with story breakdown and definition  
• Provide support for production systems   
• Interact & consult with members of the broader team to ensure that progress and impact are properly communicated.  

Must-Have Skills (3-5 bullet points) 

What are the things that cannot be taught or learned within the first 6-12 months of starting their job? 

• 5+ years hands-on code development in a collaborative team with excellent software engineering skills.  
• Strong knowledge of coding in Node.js and of TypeScript or JavaScript  
• Knowledge of Angular 
• Excellent communicator with good spoken and written English  
• Good to have knowledge on Docker  
• Knowledge on backend end development is an additional advantage 
• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science
