Job Description
As a Graduate Engineer, you will embark on an exciting career in the subsea industry, in this role much of the focus will be in Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field. You will join a dynamic team focused on the design, development, and maintenance of ROV systems used in underwater exploration, installation of structures on offshore vessels, maintenance, and research.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of ROV and USV systems, including mechanical structures, propulsion systems, control systems, and sensor integration.
- Assist in installation of ROV Launch and Recovery Systems and other structures on offshore vessels.
- Assist in the review of fabrication and installation drawings and engineering design reports.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans to validate system performance and reliability under various operating conditions and environmental factors.
- Participate in testing activities and provide support in troubleshooting components and subsystems, under the guidance of senior engineers
- Provide assistance to internal teams and external stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer support, by addressing engineering queries and providing insights into product capabilities and applications.
- Support the generation of technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, test reports, and user manuals, to ensure comprehensive documentation of design and development activities.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in underwater robotics, actively seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge and skillset.
- Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance your understanding of ROV and USV systems engineering principles and practices.
Requirements:
- Must be a UAE national with a Family Book.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- Entry-level to 2 years of experience in engineering, preferably in mechanical, structural, electrical, or naval architecture.
- Basic understanding of engineering design, control systems, sensor integration, and/or underwater vehicle dynamics.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English.
