Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is looking for a EXECUTION ANALYST based out of MADRID.
Santander is looking to incorporate a Junior Trader to join a highly dynamic and technology-driven trading desk. The aspirational aim of the role is to develop a well-rounded trading professional with strong technical and market expertise, capable of progressively taking ownership of Cash Equity trading activities and electronic trading solutions.
The role offers hands-on exposure to global equity markets, trading technology, and client interaction within an international environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior traders and technology teams, contributing to the evolution of the desk’s electronic trading capabilities while building a solid understanding of market microstructure, execution quality, and best-execution frameworks.
This position is particularly suited to a junior profile with a strong technical background, high learning capacity, and a proactive mindset, who is motivated to grow into a client-facing trader role over time. It provides a unique opportunity to develop both trading and technological skills within one of the leading global financial institutions.
